Walter and lshbel were married in 1985 and now have two sons, Andrew and Craig, born in 1986 and 1987. They live in the little village of Law which is in the fruit-growing area of the Clyde Valley In Lanarkshire, Scotland.
Their ministry has taken them all over Scotland and into England, but they have a heart for the highlands and islands of Scotland and make a point of visiting there at every opportunity.
Walter, who was a professional country and western singer before returning to God after backsliding for eighteen years, has a real anointing on his voice.
Walter has released 7 audio cassettes, 2 CDs, a testimony tape and four music videos. The videos have been used extensively in prisons, nursing homes and by people visiting the housebound. Walter's music is a tool to be used in opening people up to God.
lshbel and Walter have been living by faith in full-time ministry since 1994 and although both are capable of taking meetings on their own, they are happiest working together as a team.
Local Christian Radio is another area in which they serve their Lord and thoroughly enjoy presenting country gospel music programmes on two Christian Radio Stations, Caleb Radio and Revival Radio. lshbel has also recorded 'Morning Thoughts' for the secular radio, Isles FM.
Walter and Ishbel have been interviewed on radio stations, both Christian and secular, from small local radio stations to the BBC Studios at Pebble Mill in Birmingham.
