Hello again! What an exciting year this has been already and, what has come across so forcefully is that God is willing to move us all on in Him – is crying out to us to move on in Him – so what's the problem? We have to be willing to let Him have His way, be willing to open up to what He has for us.
Why should we find that difficult? If you're expecting me to give an answer you're going to be disappointed because I don't know what holds us back from embracing all God has for us. What I do know is that we really need to examine ourselves and find out why we are reluctant to carry out God's plan and purpose for our lives. Is it our lifestyle that isn't what it should be? Is it fear of going into unknown territory? Is it wanting to stay in control of our own lives? Is it an inferiority complex holding us back? I could go on and on listing reasons but probably my next sentence will answer them all!
We have such an awesome, wonderful Father God who created each of us individually – not one of us is a mistake – a Father God who wants the very best for us, has an individual plan and purpose for each of our lives and who has promised never to leave us nor forsake us, has promised to equip us for any job He gives us, but most of all His love for each of us, no matter who we are, no matter even if we believe in Him or not!- His love for us is so great, so perfect that we can fully trust Him with our lives.
Can't you feel the urgency to move on in Him? Can't you feel the excitement being generated from the Heavenlies? Can't you sense that time is short? If your answer to these questions is in the negative can I suggest, from personal experience, that you seek to get closer to God. This isn't said in condemnation but from a heartfelt desire to see us all wanting more of God, wanting a deeper far more intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father. It's not about religion and following a set of rules but all about relationship with the Living God - and everything else flows from that relationship, which is built on love.
