If you own or run a retirement or nursing home why not contact us and see how we can be of help to you. We are always delighted to have the opportunity to minister to the older members of our community.
Many Homes have our videos, which they show on a regular basis and they are very much enjoyed by the residents who not only appreciate the songs but love the scenery too - as it often brings back memories for them of visits to these places.
Walter also visits Hartwood Hospital every three weeks to lead the residents in their worship time and Ishbel has shared the Word on a number of occasions too. Recently they received a phone call from a patient saying how much their music and sharing had helped him through a really difficult time.
The new DVD is being shown in the mental health and geriatric hospitals in Lanarkshire on a fantastic big screen.
Walter and lshbel are delighted to get the opportunity to visit nursing homes, where they can do a programme lasting from 45 minutes to 1 hour or more if required, and have been privileged to have had the opportunity to visit retirement and nursing homes on four of the Western Islands.
Some homes like to make this a special night and invite organisations in and have supper halfway through.
Walter and lshbel are happy to discuss what is best with the organiser, and tailor their programme to suit particular needs.
