The music side of the ministry retains the former name 'Walter Stevenson Ministries' because it is easier for us to keep that area separate from the main ministry, as proceeds from sales go straight back into funding the next production.
Music is a powerful weapon and the more good positive music we have to play, the better.
Walter has sung and played many different styles of music as a professional musician in the club scene but settled into Country as his main style of music. When Walter came back to the Lord he embraced Country Gospel music with a good positive message.
He chooses songs that give testimony, that challenge, that make the listener think about their lives, that encourage, songs that help the listeners faith to grow - or songs that simply bless you to bits as your thoughts are focussed on our precious Saviour, Jesus. Walter finds the easy listening style of Country Gospel can break through the age barrier too.
Walter's ministry in song has seen him minister in Churches, fellowships, town halls, community centres, prisons, schools, houses, tents and streets, from the North of Scotland to Devon in the South of England. The islands off the West Coast of Scotland are close to Walter's heart and so far he has ministered on Lewis, Harris, Bernerary, North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist, Barra, Skye and Arran.
Walter has also had the privilege of singing and sharing testimony for an hour at the Grand Ole Opry - no, unfortunately it wasn't in Nashville, it was the Glasgow venue - but you can still dream!
Walter was saved from being an entertainer just singing songs and now only wants to minister in song so that lives can be touched and God glorified. Money and fame mean nothing but having a new life in Jesus is everything.
